Constructed in 1904 (the same year Picayune received its charter), LaBelle stands as a beautiful example of turn of the century architecture. She embraces 12′ ceilings, a 12′ main hallway hosting three large bedrooms, a formal dining room, four fireplaces and 8′ windows.
Little is known about the original owners however; historic records show that the home was used as a private residence, boarding house and even offered brunch to Sunday worshipers from the near by churches.
Keeping with her boarding house roots of comfort and hospitality, Penny and Lyndon Glaesman opened LaBelle’s; Picayune’s first and only Bed and Breakfast!
